Skills

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ Year of experience in Java development.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Proficient in Multithreaded application development (Clustered environment)
  • Skill for writing reusable Java libraries
  • Knowledge of concurrency patterns, Maps in Java
  • Proficient in JavaScript (Knowledge of JQuery, React, NodeJS preferred)
  • Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful
  • Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks, such as Swing, Hibernate
  • Familiarity with XML, CSS.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript Bundling and Minification.
  • Knack for writing clean, readable Java code
  • Experience with database technologies, sound knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
